John Robison was a professor of natural history at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and secretary of the Royal Society in that city. We are talking about a well educated respected man. In 1797 Robison published information in a book entitled Proofs of a Conspiracy Against All the Religions and Governments of Europe Carried on in the Secret Meetings of the Freemasons, llluminati, and Reading Societies Collected From Good Authorities.1 The book is still available. Clear back in 1797, there were concerned Masons willing to expose the llluminati plans for world conquest.
