The Greek word aionios occurs 71 times in the Bible. Aionios is the adjective of the noun aion which, as we have seen from scriptures, means an age or ages. We have clearly demonstrated that the Bible defines an age as having both a beginning and an end. Unfortunately, the mistranslation of the Greek word aion in most Bible versions has also lead to the mistranslation of the Greek word aionios to mean eternal or everlasting. Once again, we see opposite and contradictory meanings of the original Greek words.
