5 Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.7 What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

Revelation 7:1-8 refers to one hundred and forty-four thousand Israelites who will be sealed (saved) during the period of the Great Tribulation, before the return of Jesus Christ. There is no doubt that these one hundred and forty-four thousand Israelites form part of the Jewish remnant, and they will rise in the First Resurrection with all of God's Elect, who together are the Firstfruits. They will then enter Christ's Millennial Kingdom on earth to rule and reign with Him. (Revelation 14:1-4)
