It's not always constitutional concerns over government involvement with religion that lead to slights against Christian references and symbols. The anti-Christian virus has leaped from the government to the private sector, infecting much in its path. From our politically correct culture to the offices of corporate America, the private sector is well on its way to adopting a hostile attitude toward Christianity, having bought into the conventional wisdom that a religion of such "intolerance" is itself not worthy of tolerance. To an increasing number, Christianity is something to be ashamed of rather than celebrated.
