Many of you will differ with me, and that's fine, but it is my opinion that the "Last Supper" was what our Rabbi said it was: "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer." Luke 22:15. There is confusion on this. It is possible that this was what was called a teaching seder, as rabbis would commonly hold a seder the evening before the actual Passover, so the students could be with their families as required for the real Passover. We just don't really know. But, how Christendom has NO Passover is what is amazing, but now some are beginning to.
The "Last Supper" was not a "Mass", but a very familiar observance. The students of Rabbi OWYhy were talking about it for days before it came. The word "seder" means order. The primary objective is to remove all "chametz or leavened bread from our homes (no doubt an inherited activity we now call "spring cleaning"). It has been said that it took Leonardo De Vinci almost 20 years to paint this famous picture, known as
THE LAST SUPPER:
The actual word for "Passover" is PESACH. If something is "Kosher" (appropriate, approved) for Pesach, then it doesn't contain yeast or anything that makes it "rise". This is to remind us of the hasty departure from the bondage of Egypt (Mitzraim) by the mighty hand of hYhy. It is always observed in the evening (darkening) at the 14th of the 1st month of the year, determined by the appearance of the "green ears" of the barley crop in Yisrael. This pictures the beginning of the redemption plan for OWYhy's bride, since He is the "first fruits" of the Reign of hYhy, our "wave offering". Other neglected observances will be discussed in sequence. This "wave offering" occurred after the most significant event in the history of mankind: The resurrection from the dead of Rabbi OWYhy. The "first-born" from the dead, of what will be a great harvest of mankind, was like grain, cut-down; then, upon resurrecting, was "waving". He is literally the first to be "born" of the spirit, because He doesn't have a body like we do any more; He's something completely NEW. We receive a small "seed" of this rebirth upon being immersed, but while we are still in our flesh, we are not yet "born of the spirit" in the complete way we will be. We are, however, re-born in a spiritual way, even while we are in our flesh. We must be born of water, at our immersion, and later, raised as spatial beings like OWYhy is. "Dear friends, now we are children of hYhy, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when He appears, WE WILL BE LIKE HIM, for we shall see Him as He is."~ 1 Yn. 3:2. This painting of the Last Supper is widely recognized, and most think it is linked in some way to what they do on "Sun-day" morning. Not
true. "Supper" and "morning" are oxymoronic. When Rabbi said, "Do this in remembrance of Me" (Luke 22:19), He was referring to the observance of Pesach. Once every year, we are to remember Him and His death, as our Passover Lamb. The unleavened bread, known as "MATSAH", reminds any observant Yahudi of our Lamb. If you look at one of these flat, square pieces of cracker-like bread, it is PIERCED and BRUISED. During the annual cycle of reading the TaNaKh in synagogues, Yesha Yahu 53 is skipped. This is no accident! "But He was PIERCED for our transgressions, He was BRUISED for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds, we are healed."v. 5. With no "Passover", how is it that Catholicism and her daughters have a "Passover Lamb"? Sounds like some serious mental acrobatics, or folly is afoot. Whose transgressions did He die for? His bride's! The penalty for her idolatry (harlotry) was death. (The bride's name is "Daughter of Tsiyon" but her new name will be HEPHZIBAH (My delight is in her, 62:4.)
A little entertaining background concerning Leonardo's portrait of The Last Supper gives perspective to what a life without Torah is like. It is said that as Leonardo began his painting, he studied the text of the Writings for who was present, and he imagined their appearance. Naturally he had to search for subjects to pose for each person in the portrait. He began by looking for the most "angelic" and pure features he could find for the face of our Rabbi. After a thorough search, he finally found a young boy with the face of absolute innocence. Leonardo kindly asked the boy if he would pose for him, and compensated him for his time. Over the years, Leonardo carefully selected models to pose for each of the men. This took almost 20 years. Finally, he was down to the last man in the painting, known as "Judas" (really Yahudah). He spent months searching for the perfect model, but there just didn't seem to be anyone who looked evil enough for this modeling job. At long last, he discovered a man who had sunken as low as any man had ever gone. He was in a tavern, drunk, and had lines of pain and sin in his face that reflected the kind of life he had lived. Leonardo knew at once he had to get him to pose. Offering the man compensation, Leonardo had him pose for the most famous betrayer in the world. As Leonardo busily arranged his model, and was mixing his paints, the man spoke to him saying, "You know me."Leonardo was sure he had never been around anyone who was like this man, and replied, "Oh no, I'm sure you're mistaken, I've never laid eyes onyou."The man, sure of himself, replied saying "Oh yes, sir, it was me, when I was very young, who posed for this portrait. I was the first, you said." Hearing this, Leonardo put his hands to his face, and wept over the young boy he had crossed paths with so long ago.
Each of us have people we cross paths with, who need something from us. We either help them, ignore them, or push them down lower. I work in a store that for over the past 20 years has had a wide mixture of people coming into it. Most everyone who comes in is "searching" for something to embrace; or fulfill a need or emptiness within them. With your daily contacts, neighbors, co-workers, clients, etc., there are many who are looking for guidance which you can inspire them with. One of my missions in life is to dispel error, and replace it with Truth.
Concerning this Passover Seder known as "The Last Supper", there was a Medieval superstition that arose, based on error. Most have become convinced (hypnotized) into the thinking that OWYhy was executed on a "FriDay", the Day of Preparation for the weekly Shabbath, and resurrected at SUNRISE on "Sun-Day". This is not anything like what the memoirs reveal to us. This is just a traditional misinterpretation, propagated by Rome. In fact, there is no phrase "last supper" in the Writings, but only this "Passover" which our Rabbi said He had looked forward to observing before He suffered, and He had observed it every year of His life. He also said he would observe it again, drinking again the fruit of the vine, in His Father's Kingdom/Reign. Shatan de-railed the train, folks. The only "sign" (like "tongues", a sign for unbelievers, 1 Cor. 14:22) to prove that OWYhy is the Mashiach was the "sign of Yonah". As Yonah was 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the fish, so OW Yhy was 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb. The year OWYhy was executed, he observed Passover on what Pagans today would call a "Tues-Day" evening at twilight. Later that night He was arrested, and by the 3rd hour of the next day (our 9 a. m.), Rabbi OWYhy was being pierced. At the 6th hour (our "noon"), darkness fell on the land until the 9th hour. With a loud cry, OWYhy breathed His last, and the 60-foot-high curtain in the Temple was ripped from top-to-bottom, as a man tears his robes in grief. Because the meal we call the "Last Supper" was, according to some, a Passover observance, then it is observed at the beginning of the 14th day of the moon, at the "darkening" between sunset and night (twilight). There is some controversy about this, and you should study all sides thoroughly. However, the "superstition" I mentioned that developed, from the Christian ignorance of what "Preparation Day" we are dealing with, gave rise to what is called "FRI-DAY THE 13TH". "Preparation Day" indeed includes every sixth day of the week. Six of the seven "annual appointments" are movable, one of which is the 1st Day of Matsah, or Unleavened Bread, and also have preparation days. Obviously there are not 3 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS between "Fri-Day" night at sunset and "Sun-Day" morning. Shatan's "spin-doctors" twisted it for us, to "bend" things toward a "Sunday" morning "supper". That's not just quaint, it's goofy. Because the entire Christian world has been "programmed" to believe that the annual observance of the day of our Rabbi's death is somehow linked to the days of the week, and not Passover (a movable appointment), "FRI-DAY" just before "EASTER" is celebrated as "Good Friday". OUCH! Good? In a selfish way, yes, for us; but it is the day on which Shatan pierced our beloved OWYhl. (Only it wasn't a "Fri-Day"). In fact, if you asked Shatan what was the most significant thing he's ever accomplished, nothing else could compare to it. It fulfilled the prophecy at Gen. 3:15. The "myth" that it was a "Fri-Day", and not the preparation day for the High Shabbath of "Matsah" (Yn. 19:31) is part of the superstition of "Fri-Day the 13th". The "13" represents the fact that there were 13 MEN present at the meal the previous evening. The 13th day of each Roman month has no connection with the real moon, nor the number of men present at the meal. Not only that, but what day the resurrection occurred has nothing to do with what DA Y is the Shabbath, our day of rest. It's hard to understand how such obvious "smoke and mirrors" masked so much of the truth, and could be propagated by so many scholars over so many centuries. Shatan successfully blinded the eyes of populations with his "teachers", and desolated the correct pattern of observances. The "head" (Shatan) of this fiendish scheme controlled Constantine I, and the office of the papacy, BECAUSE HE RULES THIS WORLD.
CHRISTIANITY'S PAGAN CONNECTION
THE TRICK: APOSTASY
It's the same old trick: the LIE that "we don't really have to OBEY". The FALSE "Gospel" is what most understand, woven into their minds by the "merchants" who masquerade as messengers of righteousness. It's partly true, but it leaves out the core of the New Covenant, "Mashiach IN you". Here's how they usually teach it: " You don't have to obey, your sinning is atoned for. Besides, NO ONE can possibly obey the Commandments perfectly. J-sus obeyed them FOR us, and died to atone for all our sins, past, present, and future. You cannot out-sin the grace of G-d. When the Father looks at us, He only sees the righteousness of His SorT. So, just believing on this "Gospel" message makes a person extremely grateful to their J-sus, and they think they will show him how grateful they are by going to "Church" every Sun-day. This is a false, COUNTERFEIT, and incomplete message, and they don't know the True Mashiach. The soul that sins will die (Ezek. 18). The New Covenant is having Mashiach in us, allowing us to love and agree with the Torah; we no longer live in the "mind of the flesh". Catholicism taught for centuries that this "Mashiach in you" was achieved by receiving "communion", a man-made "sacrament" they associated with the symbols of bread and wine at the Passover seder the night before He was put to death. It's true that the emblems represented what the New Covenant pictures, but it's only a model for what was to literally take place when He came into them with power, as He does when we accept the TRUE message of salvation. The Protestant sects carried this out of the Mother, leaving behind the belief in the bread and wine trans-substantiating (changing into His literal Body by the mystical "powers" endowed in the "priest"). Never learning that they are empowered to obey by having the Ruach ha Qodesh (the set-apart Spirit of OWYhl ) in them, they keep coming back week after week. They want to learn more, but never do. The tragic thing is, Shatan has turned this into a world-wide business, and his messengers go to the bank thinking "The Lord" is blessing them. Remember, a liar tells part truth, but withholds important information.
Do we go on sinning, that "grace" may abound? "Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin (at our immersion); how can we live in it any longer?"Romans 6:1,2. "Shall we sin (break and ignore Commandments) because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! Don't you know, that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you OBEY ~ whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to OBEDIENCE, which leads to righteousness?"v. 15,16.
If you carefully read Romans 6, 7, and 8, you will eventually see that Shaul is looking at the Torah from 2 perspectives; the mind of the flesh, and the mind controlled by the Spirit. Since the "law" is spiritual, our inner being must be controlled by the Spirit of OWYhl in order to live by it. Shaul says "For in my inner being, I delight in hYhy's Torah" Rom. 7:22. He also makes it clear that without the Spirit to change us, we are doomed: "For if you live according to the sinful nature, YOU WILL DIE."Rom. 8:13.
