that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life and to enter through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and EVERYONE WHO LOVES AND PRACTICES FALSEHOOD." Rev. 22:14,15. "It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the qodesh command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: A dog returns to its vomit', and 'A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud'." 2Pet. 2:21,22. "Dogs" is the term used for Gentiles without any hope (see Mt. 7:6, and 15:26). The 'vomit' a dog returns to is his old Pagan ways. Although there are a number of things that don't effect our salvation, some people place a great deal of emphasis on them, so I'd like to discuss one of them. My own opinion about the "Last Supper" is that it was at the beginning of the 14th of Abib, and was the Passover Seder, since Rabbi Yahushua called it that. He said "Go and make preparations for US to eat the Passover" (Luke 22:8), and "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. (Notice that He said He desired to eat "this Passover" before I suffer?) For I tell you, I will not eat it A GAIN until it finds fulfillment in the Kingdom of YHWH."(Luke 22:15,16). This reinforces John 19:31, which states it was the Day of Preparation (as I understand the Passover is observed at the beginning of this Preparation Day), since the next day was a special (annual) Shabbat, beginning at sunset. There is no "lamb" mentioned, but our Rabbi is the Lamb. "It was the Day of Preparation of Passover Week, about the sixth hour" (John 19:14), being what we would call "noon" when Pilate sentenced Yahushua. Luke records that it was about the sixth hour that darkness came over the whole land until the 9th hour (3 p.m., Luke 23:44). This agrees with Mark 15:33, but Mark 15:25 says it was the 3rd hour when they hung Yahushua up on the tree. These errors could have been made by copyists, since no two sentences in the Greek manuscripts are uniform among the many copies; or Yahuchanon actually wrote the wrong time, recalling the events as an elderly man from his boyhood memory of it. But, if the translators can wipe-out whole phrases to suit themselves, and add phrases as they have done to many texts, and leave out the Name of the Creator, and change the Names of everyone recorded (except Shatan), then who are we going to blame for the discrepancy we see between Mark and Yahuchanon's record of what time of day it was our Rabbi was hung up?

Although there is a chance of 14% that an annual Shabbat can coincide with a weekly Shabbat, both kinds have a "Preparation Day". Mark also records "It was Preparation Day" (15:42). To me, this was the day before the 1st Day of Matsah, the 7 days of Unleavened Bread. The struggle we deal with is from John 18:28, where our Rabbi is being brought to Pilate from Caiaphas: "By now it was early morning, and TO AVOID CEREMONIAL UN-CLEANNESS, the Jews (Sadducees) did not enter the palace; THEY WANTED TO BE ABLE TO EAT THE PASSOVER". I could be wrong, and the Last Supper may have been just a meal, and Rabbi didn't eat the Passover, but He said He looked forward to eating this Passover before He suffered.

I will offend people no matter which side of this I come down on, but I observe Passover at the beginning of the 14th of Abib at twilight, the same day our Rabbi was executed. The Yahudim combined the observance of Passover with the beginning of the 15th of Abib, although Passover is not a "day", or a Shab-bat in itself. Lev. 23:5,6 says: "hYhy's Passover begins AT TWILIGHT on the fourteenth day of the first month. On the fifteenth day of that month hYhy's Feast of Unleavened Bread begins; for seven days you must eat bread made without yeast." These are two separate things, on 2 different days. "Twilight" is just after sunset, between sunset and darkness. At the time these events occurred, the Sanhedrin and the Temple observances were controlled by the Sadducees, the priests. The Pharisees, who were more attentive to what Scripture required, had a different opinion about certain "times" things were done. This may account for the seeming contradiction, since our Rabbi fraternized with the more popular "Pharisees" rather than the Sadducees. It was the Sad-ducees who were in control of the Sanhedrin, and the ones who were leading the campaign to execute Yahushua because of His threat to their authority. (The Pharisees had no power, but were popular with the common people.)
