The classical source-texts are conveniently accessible in the Loeb series, with Latin or Greek facing the English translation. For mediaeval authors the position is more mixed. References are given in the text for a number of these, but although Anselm of Canterbury is translated in full by J. Hopkins and H. Richardson (4 vols, New York, Edwin Mellen Press, 1976), and Aquinas is available in a number of English versions, many of them are still not to be had in English translation or, in some cases, in modern editions.
