In this final section, I would like to consider the possibility of a theology of time by summarizing the findings of this study. Since reflections on a theology of time fittingly take a central place in Moltmann's book entitled The Coming of God, and since Moltmann also signals a certain alertness with respect to scientific theories, I believe that this book can enrich basic considerations of the possibility of a theology of time. The following critical appreciation of Moltmann's theology of time presumes familiarity with the theories of physics that were presented in chapter 3.
Finally, I will emphasize the urgency for a relational understanding of time by using some biblical-theological examples. Such an understanding of time invites one to reflect further, in directions that lead beyond the dialogue between theology and science.
